Windows dont have the option to rename desktop icons like My Computer, Recycle Bin, My Documents etc. It can be done by making some changes in registry but it is not a possible task for every computer user to edit registry. So here is a cool application which can change desktop icons very easily.
Desktop Renamer can easily change the name of My Computer, Recycle Bin, My Documents and My Network Places.
How to use Desktop Renamer
Download and unzip the application. Now enter the names in the text boxes as shown in screenshot for the desired icons and press OK. You can also reset all the icons to default by clicking on Reset All.
