Whenever a new theme or add-on is installed to Firefox, it asks the users to restart the Firefox browser. It also asks the users to restart the Firefox browser whenever a add-on or a Firefox theme is enabled or disabled. However there are certain times when your browser performs slow. In such case you may need to restart it manually but there is no such option. Only option is to close it and start it again.

Quick Restart is a Firefox add-on which adds a Restart Firefox option to the File menu of your browser. You can choose this option to restart your browser. You can also use the Ctrl+Alt+R keyboard shortcut, or the included toolbar button.
Add Quick Restart button to toolbar
- To add the shortcut button to toolbar, Go to View -> Toolbar -> Customize.
- Now drag and drop the restart button to your toolbar.
Sometimes Firefox becomes too slow and consumes a lot of CPU memory even if a single tab is opened. In that case you can restart your Firefox browser to fix this problem
