Sounds interesting, but the thing with the ftp and database access is a BIG no no for me. When you say it takes time, how long is that? Has someone tested it?

Yeah I have tested it. It takes around 72 hours(or 3 days) to point your domain to dreamhost. I think this is the best free hosting solution for beginners who wants to learn ‘Wordpress’!
