Have You Got A Username For Your Facebook Profile ?

677166248Facebook is the popular social networking website among the users of all fields. Bloggers like me use it to promote their blogs and others use it for fun. Everyone has its own reasons to use Facebook. Its popularity is increasing day by day. Now Facebook is offering Facebook usernames to make it easier for people to find and connect with you.

Your friends, family members or co-workers will be able to visit your profile just by entering your username as part of the URL in their web browser. This will surely help people to easily remember your profile.

You will be able to get a username for yourself from 12:01 a.m. EDT on Saturday, June 13. Usernames will be available on first-come, first-serve basis. You can get a username for yourself by visiting http://www.facebook.com/username/. You can only choose a single username for your profile and for each of the pages that you administer. Your username must be five characters in length and only include alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9), or a period or full stop.

You will not be able to change your username after it has been selected. So think carefully before selecting a username.

Incredible because I just read about this option today, and it was recommended as brand new. Now I see that you were writing about it almost two months ago! I guess that I need to change my information resources because you showed me that my old ones are so late.
