How To Make Any Web Page Print Friendly

PrintFriendlyIf you really deliver quality content to your readers then your readers may wish to print your articles to keep a copy of it with themselves.  Most of the websites offer print friendly pages these days but there are certain websites which do not offer print friendly pages and when you try to print pages on such websites you will get unnecessary things like navigation bars, ads, sidebar content etc along with the article.

PrintFriendly is a online tool that lets you easily make any webpage print friendly.

PrintFriendly has 3 methods to make any webpage print friendly.

  1. By Visiting PrintFriendly Website :

    If the page that you want to print doesn’t offer print friendly page then you can enter the URL of that page here and it will make that page suitable for printing.

  2. Using Bookmarklet :

    You can use the bookmarklet to make pages printfriendly. Simply drag this bookamrklet to your toolbar and click on it while browsing pages to print the pages.

  3. Add Buttons To Your Blog/Websites:

    PrintFriendly also offers buttons that you can embed to your blog/websites so that your readers can easily print your articles.
    If you are using WordPress then you can install this plugin to embed printfriendly button to your blog. If you want to embed it to a website or blogger blog, simply visit this link for more instructions.

I once had a WordPress plugin that offered the printer friendly option to readers. I eventually removed it to get my plugins down. This might be another open for me now, I will have to investigate fully.
