In my previous post I have written about the Basics of Jailbreaking. In this post I would explain how do you use JailbreakMe.com to jailbreak iPhone 4 and other iDevices. As said earlier , jailbreaking an iDevice allows a lot of customization to be done using 3rd party installers like Cydia , which in return allows you to install several apps not allowed in the Apple App Store. There is no doubt that jailbreaking is popular among iPhone , iPod touch 4 and iPad users for the same reason.
Step By Step Guide to Jailbreak :
- First Start Mobile Safari in your iPhone and go to the site http://jailbreakme.com
- This will ask you to “slide to jailbreak”
- Just do the same , and the jailbreak will start downloading
- After downloading , it will process jailbreak and show the following screen
- There you go , Jailbreak Is done . It’s that simple . Its better than Spirit Jailbreak
Things to Note:
JailbreakMe cannot jailbreak iOS 4.0.2 , which was released by Apple to patch PDF Exploit.
