Add Custom Background Images to Gmail Inbox

Users of the Gmail can customize their inbox with a list of available themes. There are around 40 themes available for every user of Gmail. Some users of Gmail were looking for a way to give even more personalized touch to the inbox. Now you can set your own images as background in Gmail inbox.

Gmail has introduced a new feature that allows you to set any custom image as background in your inbox and to remove background from logos. You can choose maximum of two images. One for main background and other for footer background.

Add Custom Background Image to Gmail Inbox

Step 1: When you sign in to your Gmail account, click on settings options on top right corner.

Step 2: Now click on Themes tab.

Step 3: Now look at the bottom of the page and click on create your own theme.

Step 4: A new window will pop up where you can select the background image for main area as well as for footer area. To select the background image for main area, click on the top left corner and choose the background image.

Similarly you can select the background image for footer area by clicking anywhere on footer part.

I think this is a great new feature added to Gmail. Users can now customize their inbox with their personal photos. What do you think about this new feature?
