Microsoft has released the first service pack for Office 2010. It includes updates which provides improvements in stability, performance, and in security. It also includes all previously released updates.
Among all other improvements, the most notable improvement is the addition of a new Open from web option on OneNote 2010’s file menu which enables you to open OneNote notebooks from Windows Live SkyDrive.
Microsoft is offering free E-book Windows Vista Resource Kit to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. This e-book helps you to take your skills and knowledge to the next level. Windows Vista Resource Kit, Second Edition is written by Mitch Tulloch, Tony Northrup, and Jerry Honeycutt with the Windows Vista Team.
DreamSpark is now launched in India. DreamSpark is made for Students to provide them Microsoft Softwares free of cost. The software package includes Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Expression Studio.
You can either download the softwares or you can visit any of the partner locations to collect your software DVD.
Using these softwares, Students can program everything from a cell phone to a robot or create their own web page. Currently Microsoft DreamSpark is available to university students across India and it will be expanded to include high school students by early 2009.
