StumbleUpon Launches Widget Creator to Share Content on Blogs

StumbleUpon on Tuesday launched a new Widget Creator which lets you showcase your favorite content from StumbleUpon on your blog or website. Until now only your friends could follow your favorites but with this new Widget Creator you would be able to share content on a broader scale.

By using StumbleUpon Widget Creator, you can share your favorites from one or more of your StumbleUpon accounts. The content will be displayed in a rectangular widget which is much like the related posts widget with thumbnails. You can also choose certain sites or topics such as computers, internet tools, web development, technology etc to showcase the content on your blog. read more

New Video Tagging Scam Spreading on Facebook

A new scam is spreading like wild-fire on the walls of Facebook users with a false picture of YouTube video and which claim that they appear in the video. The scam uses multiple messages like omg [user’s name] you should untag yourself in this vid, YO! [user’s name] you look so stupid in this vid, hey [user’s name] i cant believe youre tagged in this vid, OMG!! [user’s name] why are you in this video.

Today when I was checking my email inbox I was shocked to see it cluttered with all these scam messages and it’s not the first time when we are seeing such type of scam messages on Facebook. read more
