Show Twitter Updates On Your Orkut Profile

Here is a very cool application Twitkut, developed by Ankit Ahuja. Twitkut displays your recent tweets on your Orkut profile page. It also shows you which of your friends are using Twitkut so that you can follow them. It can also shows you combined recent tweets so you don’t have to follow them separately on Twitter.

Beware of Twitter Phishing Scam

Here is a warning for users of Twitter. If you receive a direct message or a direct message email notification that redirects to a page that looks like Twitter.com, don’t sign in there as it could be scam. If you click at that website, someone else will gain access to your account. Look closely at the URL, it is another domain. Look at the screenshot below:

TwitterBar : Post to Twitter from your address bar

With TwitterBar 1.0 you can directly post to Twitter from your Firefox address bar. Just type your tweet in the address bar of Firefox and click the small TwiiterBar icon on the right side to send it to Twitter. You can hover over the TwitterBar icon to check how many characters you have left.
