Last month Internet Explorer 9 RC was released and now Microsoft has released the RTM version of Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows Seven and Windows Vista. The beta version of IE9 has been downloaded by millions of users and it is supposed to be one of the fastest internet browsers.
Internet Explorer 9 will be available in 39 different languages and it comes with new features like HTML5 support, Tracking Protection, Hardware acceleration, Better privacy features and more.
what does RTM stand for ?
RTM stands for Release to Manufacture. It is almost same as final version of the software.
We’ve been using the beta version of internet explorer9 for months now, and we think that it’s great. The only problem we had with it was the fact that pages loaded a bit slowly, but with this redesigned browser, Microsoft has launched itself into the modern world of web browsing.
Thanks for the link! I will try this one, wasn’t all that excited by IE8, maybe this one will be better!
Still using IE8… Now shifting to IE 9 🙂
Yeah, i agree with your points Michael because IE9 would be faster.
