Google’s latest browser Chrome is now out of its “Beta” Label. They have released its latest version 126.96.36.199 yesterday. According to Google Blog, the reason behind removing its beta label is that they have achieved their goals for stability and performance. They have made major improvements in some areas which includes:
Better stability and performance of plug-ins: Google Chrome received complaints mostly with video and audio playback but these bugs are fixed in this latest version now.
More Speed: Google Chrome is now even more faster than its previous beta version. Google Chrome now starts up fast, loads pages quickly.
Bookmark manager and privacy controls: Bookmark feature is also improved. It is now easier to switch between another browser and Google Chrome with the bookmark import and export features, and a new simple way to manage large numbers of bookmarks is also added. Google Chrome’s two features Unique Sandbox Technology and Safe Browsing creates an additional layer of defense against harmful software and provides protection against phishing and malware attacks for many browser users.
They are also working to add some more features like autofill and RSS support in the near future.
