Samsung Galaxy tab is an android based tablet, the only competitor to the Apple iPad. z4root has made rooting the Galaxy tab really simple task. Rooting Galaxy tab allows you to install root-only apps, uninstall apps that can’t normally be removed, do complete backups (Nandroid), flash custom ROMs, apply themes, change boot animations etc.
z4root is an android app from XDA Developer RyanZA which lets you root your android device in one click.
How to root Samsung Galaxy Tab
- Download z4root from android market and install it.
- Enable USB debugging by pressing the Menu button, then tap Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging.
- Launch z4root and press the “Root” button.
- The Galaxy tab will restart. Run z4root again to check if the rooting process was successful. If rooting was a success, then you’ll see a new Superuser app in your app drawer/tray.
Isn’t it that easy ? Enjoy with your Galaxy tab 🙂
