Kaspersky Lab has just released Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview for Windows 8 Customer Preview. However it is currently in the beta testing stage. Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview is available for download for all the users of Windows 8 Consumer Preview and after installation it is valid for a three-month (90 days) period. Find any electronic component you need on this website and work with the best technology.
The technical preview version is fully compatible with Windows 8 Customer Preview and is intended for installation exclusively on Windows Customer Preview.
Key features of Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview
- The technical preview version of Kaspersky Internet Security fully supports the new technologies and enhancements in the Windows 8 Beta.
- It includes a special security feature which is specially designed to protect the new operating system’s Metro style applications.
- It also supports Microsoft’s new Early Launch Anti-Malware (ELAM) technology, which efficiently protects users’ PCs from complex malware such as rootkits and bootkits.
It may also be noted that there is a close integration between KIS Technical Preview and Windows Security Center (WSC). This close integration makes it possible to extend license terms, update antivirus databases, activate and deactivate the product directly from Windows Security Center.
Another great improvement is in the speed of the product. KIS is faster than before and it does not reduce the system’s performance.
So how many of you have already downloaded Windows 8 Consumer Preview and official Windows 8 themes? Are you going to download this product?

Kaspersky is really cool and the best. But, Windows 8 is very resource comsunming. Things run really slowly on it.
This Kaspersky version sounds good. I think previous versions are quite slow… or rather make your PC run slow.
Kaspersky is my all time fav. But I never tried Windows 8… I have the copy but scared to try it out.
This product is not so cool, keeps sending data over 100mb to Kaspersky labs and has not eaten over 35gb of my OS drive!!!!!
Thank you for this very informative post about the new Kaspersky Internet Security. I have long been using Avast for a long time and have not been experiencing any problems with the software. However, a lot of friends tell me that Kaspersky is the way to go if I want my system to be fully secure. I would just want to know what advantages does Kaspersky Internet Security have over Avast to warrant my change of anti-virus software. I would be more than willing to part with my old anti-virus if the advantages are truly material. Thank you for your time.
