First impression is the last impression. You can make a great impression on your blog readers with your choice of beautiful fonts. I’m talking about fonts as the blogger team have added some more fancy web fonts to Blogger Template Designer which will make your blog stand out of the crowd.
Blogger team with the help of Google Web Fonts have added 40 new fonts on Blogger in Draft for you to choose from.
How to use new web fonts ?
The new fonts are really easy to use but I’m able to use these new fonts only on the default templates available in the blogger directory.
- Sign in to Blogger in Draft with your blogger ID.
- Now go to Design -> Template Designer.
- Now go into the Advanced tab select the type of text you’d like to change (Post Title, Page Text, etc.) and pick from a number of exciting, new fonts such as Reenie Beanieor Neucha (Cyrillic) or GFS Didot (Greek) or even Hanuman (Khmer).
- After you’re done, click on Apply To Blog button on top right corner.
That’s all to use new fancy web buttons on blogger blogs.
We would love to hear your feedback about these new fonts. Will you use these fonts on your blog ? Are you able to apple these fonts on your templates ?
These Fonts will make Blogger hosted Blog even more beautiful and attractive in Theme Perspective
Yes, the fonts are beautiful and really easy to add. Moreover we don’t need to edit the coding of our templates to add new fonts.
i used blogger to start blogging, now no more
nice share for blogger bloggers 🙂
Even I started my blogging from blogger platform. At that time blogger was not having that much features. Now blogger blogs are also getting better day by day.
I think Blogger is making some nice changes for personal blogs which are not serious about making money.
I think you are right. Blogger is making changes for personal blogs. I guess most of the personal blogs are hosted on blogger platform only and the people who are interested in making money online migrate their blogs to WordPress when they start making enough money from their blogs. What you say ?
Hi! These comments have got me intensely curious. I’m blogging on Blogger. I *think* I’m serious about making money.
But what’s wrong with blogging on Blogger? Should I shift to WordPress, then? But WordPress doesn’t allow Adsense, right? Or do they? How can WordPress help me earn more?
Sorry about the barrage of questions. I told you, you’ve got me intensely curious (and worried!)
Going back to the topic: I’ve just been to Blogger. The new fonts are not available to me yet. I guess they didn’t roll the out to all users all at once. What a sad, sad day : (
There is nothing wrong in blogging on blogger platform. But self hosted WordPress blogs have their own advantages. You have full control over your blog. You have better SEO options with SEO wordpress themes as well as SEO plugins. Everything can be done with the help of plugins.
Who said that you can’t use adsense on WordPress ? I’m also using WordPress and you can see the adsense ads on my blog here.
If you need any help in moving to WordPress, do let me know. Tomorrow is Black Friday so you can grab the HostGator hosting for cheap price. Do check it out here –
Hi and thank you so much for helping out! I am not sure hosting my own blog is the right choice just yet – even though I have people around me who could help out. I might stick with one of those hosted solutions for now. (wordpress.com og blogger)
As I understand it only blogger allows adsense though.
These fonts are prettier and nicer! Good for Blogger users!
blogger is adding new features per day…. it’s great opportunity for new bloggers to start with blogger….
