When you embed YouTube videos into your blog posts, a YouTube logo is displayed at the bottom right corner of the video. Most of the users don’t mind that logo but there are some conditions when you don’t want it to appear in your videos. Now YouTube let you remove logo from embedded YouTube videos easily.
If you are a blogger and write posts related to tutorials or application or gadget reviews then chances are high that you use videos in your posts most of the times. The easiest way to share videos with blog readers is using YouTube and if you want YouTube player without a YouTube logo, you can easily do it by adding a small code to iframe embed code.
Remove YouTube Logo from Embedded Videos
Open YouTube.com and copy the embed code of any video. To copy the embed code, click on Share button at the bottom of the video and then on Embed button.
Now in the embed code that you have copied for the video, add the code ?modestbranding=1 at the end of the video URL and the player will show without the YouTube logo in the control bar. Now paste the modified code into the post editor.
Although the YouTube logo is removed but a small “YouTube” text label will still show up in the upper-right corner of a paused video when you hover over the player.
The small code to remove the YouTube logo works only with iframe code and note with the old embed code. [via: YouTube Blog]
